The professional graduate Architectural Lighting Certificate is a program for students from the professional community. Throughout the certificate, you will build your confidence and competence, learn to contribute more fully to your company, and further advance your career skills. Depth of understanding and proficiency grows throughout a two-semester onlineÌýlighting designÌýcourse sequence that begins in September and ends in April. The certificate program culminates in a six-week capstone course full of hands-on practical experiences with lighting measurements, equipment, and software tools during an on-campus week-long intensive inÌýthe summer. The Architectural Lighting Certificate is awarded by the University of Colorado to students who hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline and whoÌýsuccessfullyÌýcomplete this series of three 3-creditÌýlightingÌýcourses.
TUITION: The professional graduate Architectural Lighting Certificate is made up of threeÌýlightingÌýcourses. Tuition for the Fall 2025 through Summer 2026 courses is $750 per credit hour, or $2250 per course. No student fees are assessed for Architectural Lighting certificate courses. Please note that tuition does not cover travel, meals, or lodging costs for the on-campus intensive as part of the Architectural Lighting Capstone.
