Precollege STEM Summer Program

As Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) education has been centered and prioritized in K-20 education systems, many first-generation and underrepresented communities continue to lag in representation and in acquiring degrees in these fields. In response to this challenge, the Office of Precollege Outreach and Engagement has created a two-week summer residential program on the CU ÌÇÐÄVlogÆƽâ°æ campus that introduces STEM disciplines and topics to Precollegiate Development Program participants. This program is also open to participants of our ÌÇÐÄVlogÆƽâ°æ County partner programs (Adelante Program, ÌÇÐÄVlogÆƽâ°æ Housing Partners, City of Longmont’s Aspire Program, "I Have A Dream" Foundation of ÌÇÐÄVlogÆƽâ°æ County).

2023 applications are not yet open.

Program courses include:

  • Science Writing and Research
  • Mathematics
  • STEM Exploration
