Communications Resources

These resources are available to affiliates of the College of Engineering and Applied Science. Usage of these materials, per university policy, is expected to follow CU ÌÇÐÄVlogÆƽâ°æ's brand and messaging guidelines.

Please contact your unit communicator if you need something you do not find here.

Digital signage is reserved for events and messaging that affect a majority of the College of Engineering & Applied Science student population and is hosted or sponsored by a CU dept., program or unit.

Requests must meet these guildelines:

  • Adheres to university brand policies for typography, color and logo usage
  • Approved by or designed by CEAS Creative
  • Requests must be submitted two weeks prior to requested display time
    • Display time for each slide = 2 weeks
  • Dimensions: 1920 x 1080 pixels
  • Format: .jpg

Slides run for only a few seconds. That means text should be kept very minimal. We recommend:

  • Headline (5 words or less)
  • Short description of event (think like a tweet - around 140 characters)
  • Time/date/place of event
  • QR code + URL to learn more (we can generate a QR code for you)
  • Must include sponsoring logo (college, department, unit, student org., etc.)

We encourage you to provide your own content. Below is a template and examples of screens we've run in the past:
