CAPS is the dedicated counseling center on campus. We support the mental health needs of CU ÌÇÐÄVlogÆƽâ°æ’s entire student population, including undergraduate and graduate students. CAPS is the primary point of contact for mental health services on campus. Our office serves as a central station to help direct students to the resources and support that best fit their needs on and off campus, including referrals.Ìý

Treatment
CAPS provides multiple services to support student mental health concerns, including individual therapy, group therapy, workshops and more. We work one-on-one with students to determine which services will best meet their needs.

Outreach & consultation
CAPS consults with parents, families and partners on and off campus to help address a wide variety of mental health concerns regarding students.Ìý

Training
CAPS offers training programs designed to prepare the next generation of mental health professionals to provide ethical, affirming, multicultural care. Trainees are an integral part of the CAPS team and work with students to help address their concerns.Ìý
