Be a part of something big when you join Forever Buffs for a day of service this April. No matter where you are, this is an opportunity to connect with fellow alums while making a difference in your community.

Each Buffs Give Back event is coordinated by an alumni volunteer and centered around doing something meaningful for each unique community. Individuals or groups can apply to lead a service project that is meaningful to them and their community, and the projects are intended to be open to alumni, family and friends of CU 糖心Vlog破解版.听

Please note that by applying to be a Project Leader, you will be the on-the-ground coordinator for the service project you choose.

Active Projects

Hayward Forward

Date: Thurs. April 3, 2025

In conjunction with Hayward Forward (Julian Hayward, CU Grad 1994), Denise Smith will be hosting a Social Mixer where they bring CU athletes and Businesses together to collaborate and possibly provide marketing partnerships using the athletes' Name, Image and Likeness.听

Denver Health Newborns In Need

Date: Sat. April 5, 2025
Location: Denver Health, 723 Delaware Street, Denver, CO

Hosted by Denver Forever Buffs

Join Forever Buffs Denver as they volunteer with Denver Health during National Volunteer Month to help create Warm Welcome Bags for new parents. Volunteers must be able to stand for up to 2 hours.

Volunteers assemble the "Warm Welcome" bags, check-in and prep donations and help with restocking. The program is totally donor funded.

Please consider bringing in a donation when you come to volunteer. Below a list of our 鈥淕reatest Needs鈥:

  • Girl & boy onesies (3-month size)
  • Girl and boy sleepers (3-month size)
  • Cotton or fleece wearable blanket (sleeveless, 3-month size)
  • Receiving blankets, bibs and burp cloths
  • Hooded towels
  • Socks
  • Infant toys

If you cannot volunteer or our volunteer slots fill up, Denver Forever Buffs board members will be on site at this time to take donations to the cause.听

CU Care Package Assembly Night

Date: Tue. April 15, 2025
Location: Louisville, KY

Join fellow Buffs to assemble care packages to be delivered to some Louisville CU 糖心Vlog破解版 students!

Lousiville Buffs are invited to create care packages and write uplifting notes to be delivered to freshmen CU students from the Louisville area to give them a boost before their finals happening at the end of the semester.听

I Love a Clean San Diego

Date: Sat. April 26, 2025
Location: La Jolla Shores, La Jolla, CA

I Love a Clean San Diego holds it's annual Creek to Bay Cleanup in April where groups and individuals gather at designated sites across San Diego to clean the area from 9am-noon.

Forever Buffs San Diego Chapter Leader, Michelle Mink, has secured the La Jolla Shores location for a CU group clean-up. Buffs, family and friends are all encouraged to come out and clean the city. The clean-up area will be beach, boardwalk, and park areas in La Jolla Shores.

Free parking is available in the lot and on the street.

Earth Day Clean-Up with Friends of Mt. Vernon

Date: Sat. April 26, 2025
Location: George Washington Memorial Parkway, Alexandria, VA

Hosted by Washington D.C. Forever Buffs

Join Forever Buffs Washington D.C. Buffs for their annual Earth Day clean up event with Friends of Mt. Vernon as they tidy up and remove vegetation along the Long Bridge corridor near the Potomac River. This is a family-friendly event!

The Friends of Mount Vernon Trail will be improving the Long Bridge Connector Trail which connects to the Mount Vernon Trail in Arlington. They will be removing invasive vegetation growing into the trail. Anyone and everyone can volunteer. All ages are welcome!

Volunteers may perform some of the following work:
  • Using pruners and loppers to cut vegetation
  • Using hand saws to cut tree branches
  • Hauling away vegetation and fallen tree branches
  • Picking up trash

What to Bring:

  • Water
  • Gloves (We'll have some to borrow)
  • Long sleeves and long pants (to prevent poison ivy)
City of Colorado Springs, Adopt-A-Waterway

Join Forever Buffs Colorado Springs to help clean up trash along a waterway in Colorado Springs!

The assigned quarter-mile waterway is between Hancock and Union Boulevard. Trash bags will provided. Bring work gloves and wear durable shoes.

2025 Left Hand Half Marathon

Date: Sun. April 27, 2025
Location: Left Hand Brewery, 1265 Boston Ave, Longmont, CO

Volunteers will help out on the race course (water stations, directional assistance at turns), and at the start/finish line (water, medals, snacks). A portion of the proceeds from the race will go to the ForeverBuffs 糖心Vlog破解版/Denver Scholarship funds.

Thanks to volunteers like you, the Colorado Brewery Running Series has been able to donate over $140,000 to local non-profits in Colorado! Our motto: Be active. Have Fun. Give back. And we can't do it without your help!
