The Ann and H.J. SmeadÌýDepartment ofÌýAerospace Engineering Sciences,Ìýthrough theÌýAeroBuffs Alumni Club, annually bestows awards to recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of outstanding alumni.
Honorees are inducted into the ÌÇÐÄVlogÆƽâ°æ AeroBuffs Club Alumni Academy.
Established in 2022, the awards highlightÌýsuperior professional achievement and service to the engineering profession in the following categories:
- Outstanding Alumni for Excellence in Commercial Enterprise
- Outstanding Alumni for Excellence in Technical Achievement
- Outstanding Alumni for Excellence in Public Service
Up to three awards will be given each year in each category. One alumnus may be under the age of 40 and two alumni may be over the age of 40.Ìý
