City invites student, faculty, staff participation in Community Assembly
The city of ÌÇÐÄVlogÆƽâ°æ is encouraging student, faculty and staff participation in itsÌý, inviting applications to take part in the Community Assembly.Ìý

Those who commute to ÌÇÐÄVlogÆƽâ°æ for work or school are eligible to apply, as are those who live in ÌÇÐÄVlogÆƽâ°æ who received a yellow envelope from the city or county in the mail.
The assembly will bring together 48 randomly selected participants to learn about a specific topic from experts, discuss benefits and trade-offs and make recommendations to policymakers.ÌýÌý
- The topic:Ìý15-minute neighborhoods—places where daily needs can be met within a short walk, roll or bike ride.
- The commitment: Seven full-day Saturday sessions between May and October 2025 with a break for summer.
- The incentive: $1,000 stipend, meals, childcare and interpretation services.Ìý
