Research & Innovation Arts & Humanities Grant Program

The Research & Innovation Office Arts & Humanities Grant Program fosters the advancement of arts- and humanities-related scholarship, research and creative pursuits at CU ÌÇÐÄVlogÆƽâ°æ. The goal is to support projects with value to the disciplines of arts, humanities and humanistic social sciences, while also contributing to the applicants' career development.

This opportunity is inspired by the Research & Innovation Office’s recognition of the essential role of the arts and humanities at a public university, including inspiring deeper connections with others, welcoming multiple and diverse perspectives and contemplating what it means to be human. As such, projects addressing and incorporating justice, equity, diversity and inclusion (JEDI)-related topics are encouraged.

Important Dates

The program opens March 17, 2025 and proposals must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. on Monday, April 14, 2025. Proposals received after the deadline will not be reviewed. Awards will be announced in late April - early May.

Funding

Awards will be made up to $7,500, with the average award expected to be $2,000-$3,000 and used within one full year from the date of award. The anticipated start date for projects is July 1, 2025.
