Ingredients

  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 2 1/2 cups sugar
  • Ginger, about 3x2 inch piece of fresh ginger root, peeled & finely grated/minced.
  • 1-2 packs of boneless skinless chicken thighs

Directions

  1. Add everything except chicken to largest saucepan.
  2. Heat on medium heat until blended well, stirring frequently.
  3. Add chicken.
  4. When it comes to a frothy simmer, stir and reduce to Med/Low - Low setting.
  5. Simmer on low about 45 minutes, uncovered. Stir occasionally.
  6. Serve over white rice.
