Why they submitted this recipe: One our family favorites! This easy-to-make chicken recipe is sweet and savory.

Ingredients
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 2 1/2 cups sugar
- Ginger, about 3x2 inch piece of fresh ginger root, peeled & finely grated/minced.
- 1-2 packs of boneless skinless chicken thighs
Directions
- Add everything except chicken to largest saucepan.
- Heat on medium heat until blended well, stirring frequently.
- Add chicken.
- When it comes to a frothy simmer, stir and reduce to Med/Low - Low setting.
- Simmer on low about 45 minutes, uncovered. Stir occasionally.
- Serve over white rice.
