Why they submitted this recipe:This dish has become a homecoming tradition in our house 鈥 every time Merced comes home from college, she requests it without fail. It first found its way into our kitchen during a particularly hectic season when fast, flavorful meals were a necessity. Originally inspired by a Green Chef meal kit, I couldn鈥檛 resist making a few tweaks to lighten it up, all while keeping the bold, mouthwatering flavors intact. The fragrant mix of garlic, ginger, and savory goodness instantly transports us to a cozy family dinner, even when life feels chaotic. It鈥檚 a comforting reminder that a simple, vibrant bowl can bring everyone to the table 鈥 and keep them coming back for more. Whether you鈥檙e cooking for friends or just for yourself, this colorful, flavor-packed meal is guaranteed to brighten your day.

- Pull the beef mixture off the heat and pour it into a bowl.
- In the same pan used to cook the meat, add 录 cup vegetable broth, broccoli, red bell pepper and cabbage, and cook on medium heat for about 5 minutes, until the vegetables are softened.
- Finally, add the beef mixture back into the vegetables and the sauce
- Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes. Top with toasted sesame seeds.
