Residential Academic Program (RAP) Experience

RAPsÌýare elective programs in which students live together in a residence hall, share common academic interests, participate in specially tailored small first-year classes, have unique access to faculty, and engage in co-curricular activities that reinforce the program’s academic theme. As a prospective MASP participant, you are eligible to have the RAP fee covered, if you choose to live in a RAP. Below is further information about RAPs and how to enroll in one.
RAP experience during first year
We encourage all first-year MASP students to choose a RAP experience during their first year; however, you may also choose to apply to an LLC (Living and Learning Community) or a traditional residence hall experience. You may also request to commute from home (see Housing Policies, Forms and Accommodations for more details on commuting). RAPs offer smaller classes and a living community that complements the intentional learning community in MASP.
As a prospective MASP participant, if you choose a RAP, the RAP fee will be charged to your Bursar's account but paid for with a scholarship that will be automatically applied to your account. Details on each RAP can be found here scroll to the bottom of the page for RAP eligibility and community details.ÌýÌý
