Education History
Prior to beginning a PhD at the ÌÇÐÄVlogÆƽâ°æ in 2021, Grant earned earned bachelor's degrees in Aerospace Engineering and Applied Mathematics in just three years. During this time, he worked on virtual reality graphics while an intern at Lockheed Martin, improved photogrammetry processes of deployable booms at Redwire Space, and led the avionics and science teams on a NASA-funded student project.
Research Interests
Grant's current PhD research lies at the intersection of traditional numerical methods and modern machine learning techniques. His research interests include equation discovery, deep learning, and optimization.
