Merit Eligibility

FLSA Reminder

  • Please pay close attention to any emails you may receive regarding FLSA.
  • If you have any questions, direct them to Kelly Reel (for staff) orÌýresfachr@colorado.eduÌý(for research faculty).

Background Check Reminder

  • Background checks (BGC) must be completed in full before employees begin working.
  • With spring around the corner, please pay special attention to temporary faculty BGCs. Submitting BGC requests early may help to ensure compliance.

Action Items

  • Submit spring hiring paperwork as soon as possible. NOTE: any requests that affect or may be affected by the January merit increase may be held until after the upload is completed by Employee Services in early January.

Important Dates to Know

  • November 15, 2024 – staff and research faculty transfers, promotions, and pay changes after this date will not be eligible for the January merit increase.
  • November 28-29. 2024 – HRSC closed to observe Thanksgiving. Business will resume on Monday, December 2, 2024.
  • December 25, 2024-January 1, 2025 – HRSC closed to observe winter break. Business will resume on Thursday, January 2, 2025.
