Busy Season

  • We are currently receiving a high volume of tickets. Thank you for your patience in this busy season. We will complete requests on a modified first-in-first-out basis as we will prioritize upcoming deadlines. FLSA Reminder

  • Please pay close attention to any emails you may receive regarding FLSA.
  • If you have any questions, direct them to Kelly Reel (for staff) or resfachr@colorado.edu (for research faculty).

Background Check Reminder

  • Background checks (BGC) must be completed in full 产别蹿辞谤别听employees begin working.
  • With spring around the corner, please pay special attention to temporary faculty BGCs. Submitting BGC requests early may help to ensure compliance.

End-of-Year Submissions and Office Closures

  • The HRSC will be closed from Wednesday, December 25, 2024, through Wednesday, January 1, 2025. Business will resume on Thursday, January 2, 2025.
  • The deadlines below should ensure timely processing; however, we advise submitting requests as soon as possible to avoid delays.
    • Additional Pay Forms: Submit requests by EOB on Monday, December 16, 2024.
    • Biweekly Payroll 12/21/24: Manual timesheet uploads and MyLeave timesheets should be submitted/approved by noon on Tuesday, December 24, 2024. See the off cycle note below.
    • New Employee Access: Put 鈥渁ccess鈥 in the subject line and submit your request by EOB on Monday, December 16, 2024. Note: If a BGC is required, access will be delayed until the check is completed in full; please plan accordingly.
    • Off Cycle 12/19/24: Submit your requests by noon on Monday, December 23, 2024. Note: There is no off cycle during the weeks of 12/16-12/20 and 12/30-1/3. If late payroll requests are not included in this off-cycle, they will not pay out until Friday, January 10, 2025.

Spring 2025 Compensation and Spreadsheet Reminders

  • Please ensure that any Spring 2025 paperwork you submit reflects compensation changes that may go into effect on January 1, 2025.
  • When submitting spreadsheets, please select the correct Transaction Type as the required information may vary:
    • Hire: used for employees who do not have an active appointment in HCM or need a new additional appointment.听
    • Reappointment: used for contracted employees hired in the Fall that will continue in the same or similar appointment in the Spring.
    • Funding/Pay Rate/Reports To: used to note any funding, compensation, or supervisor changes to an existing appointment.听
    • Termination: used when an employee's appointment has ended.

Action Items

  • Submit spring paperwork as soon as possible. Note: any requests that affect or may be affected by the January merit increase may be held until after the upload is completed by Employee Services in early January.
