John E. Skajem has built a distinguished 35-year career in international banking and investment management. He began with the Man Group in Chicago, rising to become global head of foreign exchange. His leadership roles include head of capital markets at DNB, CEO of Kaupthing Bank Norway and head of Norway at J.P. Morgan. Most recently, he served as CEO of Huddlestock Fintech, successfully leading the company’s IPO and European expansion.

Skajem is a former member of the Norwegian alpine ski team and a celebrated University of Colorado athlete. His achievements include multiple NCAA skiing championships, and he was inducted into the CU Athletic Hall of Fame in 2024.

Fluent in English and Norwegian, with proficiency in German and French, Skajem holds a Bachelor of Science in finance from CU ÌÇÐÄVlogÆƽâ°æ and attended the University of Chicago MBA program. He lives in Oslo with his wife, Gina, and their five grown children, dedicating his time to professional, athletic and community endeavors.
