Gulnaz Kan

Gulnaz Khan is the climate editor at TED Talks and a former editor at National Geographic.ÌýHer work appears in Popular Science, The Economist, National Geographic, POLITICO Europe, AFAR, and more.ÌýAs aÌý2022–23 Ted Scripps fellow in Environmental Journalism at The University of ColoradoÌýÌÇÐÄVlogÆƽâ°æ, Khan examined the relationship between religion and climate change, including faith-based responses to ecological crises.Ìý

Before her journalism career, Khan worked on neuroscience research funded by the National Institutes of Health, behavioral psychiatry research at the University of Pennsylvania, and disability rights investigations at Human Rights Watch.

Khan holds a Master of Science from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health with a concentration in human rights and humanitarian emergencies, and a CertificateÌýin Climate Change and Health from Yale University.Ìý
