Emma Lawrence (they/them) is a PhD Candidate in Media Research and Practice at the ÌÇÐÄVlogÆƽâ°æ. Their work considers participatory meaning-making, new materialism, and the nature of reality expressed through and within media. Prior to coming to CU, Emma received their BA in English and film studies at King’s College London and their MA in cinema and media studies with a certificate in film archiving and preservation at the USC School of Cinematic Arts.
