Danielle Dick is an endowed professor of psychiatry, psychology and genetics, and the author ofÌýThe Child Code. She is a globally recognized expert on genetic and environmental influences on human behavior, with over 450 peer-reviewed publications spanning child development, addiction, mental health and behavioral genetics. Her groundbreaking work has been supported by more than 25 grants from the National Institutes of Health, totaling over $55 million in funding.
Named one of the most highly cited researchers worldwide, Dick has received numerous national and international awards for her contributions to science. As the director of the Rutgers Addiction Research Center, the largest of its kind in the United States, she leads transformative efforts in addiction research. Passionate about bridging research and health innovation, her team developed the Comprehensive Addiction Risk Evaluation System (CARES) to empower people with cutting-edge insights into addiction risk and support healthier outcomes.
