Master's in Real Estate Bachelor's Accelerated Master's (BAM) Program
Prerequisite Courses
- REAL 3000: Principles of Real Estate
- FNCE 3010: Corporate Finance
- REAL 4200: Real Estate Technology
Admissions Process
Initial admission to the program will be possible as soon as all three prerequisite courses are complete. You can apply during the semester in which you are finishing the prerequisite courses. Please complete the Department Application (step 1 below) and attach that to the BAM Intent Application (step 2). Both forms are mandatory and will enable students, if eligible, to be admitted to the BAM Program and enrolled in the BAM courses. Students will not be able to retroactively or otherwise receive the benefits of the BAM if they fail to complete these two steps. Applicants must submit these two items:
- Department Application鈥completed form to be attached with the Intent Application.
Program and Application Details
- You must be a current Leeds students and complete all required real estate prerequisite courses with a 鈥淏鈥 or better before being fully admitted to the program.
- You can apply during the fall semester in which you are finishing your prerequisite courses.
- BAM applications will be reviewed by the Admissions Committee.
- During your final undergraduate semester, you must complete a Master's Continuation Form to officially continue into the accelerated master's program.
- You must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 to continue into the master's portion of the program.
- If you are an international student, you require approval from the International Student and Scholar Services before starting the master's program.
- Once admitted to the master's program, you will be assessed graduate tuition rates. In-state students will be assessed resident graduate tuition but will not receive COF.
- Students must attend a mandatory BAM orientation if admitted to the program.
- Students must begin the master's program within one year of completing their baccalaureate degree (three semesters, including summer, and depending on the program), and must select their term of admission upon applying.
- If you receive financial aid, be aware that as a graduate student, you are considered 鈥渋ndependent鈥 and may no longer be eligible for aid requiring undergraduate status.

9 credit hours may be taken as an undergraduate for later use toward the MS real estate degree.
